Our Past Presidents
A legacy of leadership shaping the India Association of Minnesota.
Honoring the leaders who have dedicated their time, passion, and guidance to bridging cultures and building the Asian Indian community in Minnesota since 1973.
"Zeke was the Secretary when India Club started in 1973, and I was the President. He became President in 1981. Even though I was the President between 1973 and 1981, we carried on all the events as a group without bothering about the official ranks. In addition, between 1973 and 1985, India Club worked closely with the International Institute of Minnesota, because it had the tax-exempt status and the money to sponsor events, money that India Club did not have. We did all the India Club events in the name of both organizations." — From a note by Jagdish Desai (First President), confirmed by Preeti Mathur.
