Prabhat’s spirit to live by is: WE ARE HUMAN BEINGS FIRST.

Prabhat has been associated with Minnesota Hindu Milan Mandir, Farmington since 2014, first and foremost as a devotee, and then in the office, Executive and Advisory Boards – Vice Presidents, President and Public Relations Officer, etc.  He attempts to share, interpret, and translate his limited scriptural knowledge into how one can adopt in day-to-day’s practical life.  More importantly, however, he is forever a student willing to learn from any source.  His motto/quote – “A willing student can learn from everyone and everything at any event every time.”

On the professional front, Prabhat graduated from Indian Institute of Technology (Banaras Hindu University) at the top of his class in Mechanical Engineering receiving the Gold Medal, and subsequently completed his graduate degrees in the US Universities – M.S., Ph.D. and M.B.A.  He has worked at several US Corporations including GE, Maytag, Philips, Bosch, British Petroleum and Verizon.  He is also a certified Master Black Belt in Lean Six Sigma and Business Improvements, NOT in Karate (don’t be afraid       ).

In addition to enjoying his leadership role as a “Change Agent” in Corporations, he enjoys meeting people from diverse regions and cultures around the world, playing tennis and learning/sharing in various interfaith forums, schools and the community at large.  He has authored and published a few articles on teachings and concepts from the Hindu faith with the viewpoint of educating the masses in the West and East alike.
