IAM Non-violence Day

IAM is celebrating the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi this year, once again at MN Historical Society, in collaboration with Twin Cities Non-violent.
October 02nd is proclaimed by the State of Minnesota as Nonviolence Day.
On the 156th birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi, IAM and the State of Minnesota honor his guiding legacy of Ahimsa (non-violence) that continues to be relevant in promoting peace and compassion.
This recognition reinforces Gandhi’s universal message that true strength lies in compassion, respect, and empathy—values that unite communities and foster harmony.
Join us in spreading his message of peace and non-violence over a 3 hour program showcasing Gandhi’s work, his teachings and the relevance of his message even today in the society.
Event is free to attend, but registration is required to plan the logistics.
