Ravi Sagi is with IAM for the last 6 years in many different roles including board of director, Out Reach Chair, Treasurer and Vice President last year. He is also Ex- President and one of the founders of the regional Non-profit organization, MATA (Minnesota Area Telangana Association).

Coming from regional organization background helped him with his Outreach work. Ravi is also associated with multiple non-profit organizations due to his interest in social service and community involvement. Ravi has an MBA from Osmania University, Hyderabad, India and works at Delta Airlines as an IT- QA resource manager.

He loves to play tennis and watch NFL and college basketball in his spare time. He lives in Eden Prairie with his wife Uma, son Varun and daughter Ananya.

Nasreen Shaikh (Nash) is a very enthusiastic person. She has been involved in extracurricular activities for a long time and has been teaching Bollywood dance for more than 2 decades. She wants to be on the board to share her knowledge, enhance her leadership skills, make new friends, and give back to the community.

Nasreen works for Blue Cross and Blue Shield of MN as HR Shared Service Consultant. She has done Master in Human Resources Development from Mumbai University, India. She lives in Eagan with her husband and two kids.




Sreeni Checka has been involved with IAM since 2011 and engaged with various activities to advance IAM's mission of Culture, Charity & Connections. Sreeni served as IAM Treasurer in 2017. Sreeni is looking forward to enhancing IAM's Partnerships with like-minded Organizations, involvement of Youth and giving back to the broader Minnesota Community.

Sreeni is a passionate Healthcare Professional and currently works as Director of Product Strategy for Optum. He holds an MS from Louisiana State University and an MBA from Washington University. Sreeni loves playing Table Tennis and Racquetball in his spare time. He lives with his wife and two daughters in Woodbury.

Chitra BinoyBy being a part of the IAM team, Chithra Binoy hopes to be involved in its vision to create cohesiveness within the Indian community in Minnesota. She has been an active volunteer in various Non-Profit organizations since 2000, when she moved to the United States. Chithra has served as membership Chair of the State Minnesota PTA, President of Wayzata High School PTO, and Wayzata Orchestra Boosters, Board member of Wayzata Education Foundation (WEF) and Putting Family First (PFF). At present Chithra is part of the Great Expectations initiative, whose anchor partners are Interfaith Outreach & Community Partners, Wayzata and Orono school districts which coordinates the goodwill and resources of the community to set all kids on the path to success from cradle to career. She is also a member of the Legislative Action Committee and Curriculum and Technology Committee of Wayzata District.

In 2011, Chithra was a part of the 35 member Task Force appointed by Minnesota Department of Education Commissioner charged with developing a new evaluation system for Minnesota teachers. She holds a Master’s degree Human Resource Management and Sociology and is presently employed in Wayzata School District.

Through IAM, Chithra hopes to build relationships and collaborate with other Asia-Pacific civic engagement organizations in the Twin cities who advocate for women, youth and elderly in our community.
